![]() ![]() Hack n slash games have a fan base that is mostly proportional to the quality of the public interface. Basically, what Wolcen needs the most is proper open public games, pvp arenas, lounges to chat and keep showing off between two runs. Those will keep grinding the game to hopefully show off in a public game and make friends there. The real bait to attract the remaining 99% of potential big players is not that glamorous. those albeit necessary steps to a great game can only keep around a small group of theorycrafters and lore junkies who really like the game mechanics, the story, etc. ![]() However, right now, it is clearly the worst h'n's on the market (yeah, seems even worse than Torchlight 3).Įven if Wolcen had 10 acts, all balanced, useful skills with only interesting modifiers and nodes. ![]() Long before the release I thought that this game had a potential. But the devs, don't want to send you straight away to the place full of critique. However, this game has a fraction of players that for example Grim Dawn, PoE or Diablo have (usually far below 1k), so I don't really know, who they want to attract with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ content.Īnother thing that adds to this whole "scam thing" is that when you enter the discussions on this game, the Steam sends you to so-called "Landing page" instead of "General Discussion", like it happens with majority of the game. Now, instead of actually finishing both the game and the story, they are making some pathetic seasons/league which interest mostly the hardcore players. ![]() The devs said that there will be five acts, but they released the game with three. Games are usually out of EA when they're FINISHED, but nah, that's not the case with our favourite hack'n'slash (*sarcasm*). Tbh, the whole release already felt like a complete scam. ![]()
